Minnesota Part 8
Overall our trip was great. Here are a few pictures from the last day....

Grandpa & Grandma Newman w/ the grandkids.

Uncle Kyle, Tyler, & Dad, then our family, on the dock at Zorbaz on Little Pine Lake.

On the last night, Andrew convinced Kyle to go out with him in the boat. Those of us on the beach all noticed we had been receiving numerous "911" calls - they were stuck. John and Matt (armed with beverages) headed out to tow them in, expecting two very unhappy men. Instead, we found out that it wasn't engine troubles but lack of gas, and that they had caught a huge fish and didn't care that they had gotten stuck!

Minnesota Part 5
And the trip goes on! Minnesota is all about exploring and relaxing. One afternoon, Andrew, Tyler, and I headed up to Pelican Rapids to a hamburger joint everyone used to go to, checked out a previous resort they have stayed at, and stopped at a different Zorbaz for a drink. It was nice to spend an afternoon as just our family. As for relaxing, my favorite time in Minnesota is the cool mornings where you can put on a sweatshirt and drink coffee, or wander around the shops.

Minnesota Part 4
Since cousins Jason, Aubrey, and Andrew, all had kids around the same age and decided that we needed to get a picture of the three boys together. I just thought that the pictures I ended up with told a funny story....

Hi Cooper! What's up!.......Cooper, let me give you a kiss......

I think we both need to help you, Cooper.....What? Look at the camera?

Yeah, we took care of Cooper all right!....Huh? We weren't supposed to do that?
We also took the "all cousins" picture in their Skunk Patrol t-shirts (long story, apparently old story)....those pictures are probably even funnier! :)

Minnesota Part 3
Every Wednesday in Perham is the "International Turtle Races"....yes, I said Turtle Races. Tyler & I hitched a ride with the Perkins and shopped around the local stores, then met up with them in time to watch Mason and Johnathan race. Mason won his heat and got to race again. What excitement! Tyler was a little confused with all the yelling and whistle blowing. After the races we all met up at Zorbaz for some pizza and nachos. And family pics of course!
