First Year of Preschool

Tyler had a great 1st year of preschool!  For his last few days, we got to go to his field day and picnic lunch and their final class presentation.  He had wonderful teachers and learned so much!

Tyler, his best friend Tre, and teacher Ms. Cassie
Last day of school Picture!  We asked him again what he wanted to be when he grows up - a Pilot!
Gotta have one with his brother!
Field day games!
They had sidewalk chalk to play with during some downtime between games.  A parent had a great idea to trace his kid - soon they ALL wanted a chalk body!
The big parachute!
Not sure how he got this way.....

Easter #3 - annual neighborhood hunt!

Another fun tradition - Easter egg hunt in the front yard with the neighbors!

Easter #2 - home!

Easter festivities continued - of course we have to dye eggs - even Blake got to help!  The boys then got to open our traditional Easter gift - PJ's!  On Easter the Easter Bunny visited and left lots of eggs and candy.

Easter #1 - Stanton

We spent Palm Sunday in Stanton complete with 4-wheeling, deck party, and an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa's!

Going to the Circus

Tyler learned a circus song at preschool and I finally got him to actually sing a song on video for me - Enjoy!

Spring Break - Rest of the Story

The boys also just had fun at the hotel - they played, watched Frozen, and we of course went swimming.  This was Blake's first real swim and he loved it!  Our last stop out of town was a nature center, then it was on the road back home.

Spring Break - LegoLand

After pizza, movies, and watching the ISU Men's game in the hotel, we started out the next day bright and early at LegoLand!  Tyler and Andrew built a tower to withstand an earthquake, cars to race down ramps, road the two rides, viewed Lego Kansas City, and then both boys got to play with huge legos.  Lots of fun!

Spring Break - SeaLife

We took a late Spring Break trip this year as one of our first real family vacations as a family of 4 to Kansas City.  Tyler loved the drive because we let him rent Frozen from the redbox!  Our first stop in town was to eat at Blu Koi, a restaurant Andrew found on a Food Network show.  We then headed to SeaLife.  It was fun and the perfect size for the boys.
