5 Months Old!!!

Tyler turned 5 months old during Easter, so here are a few pictures.....

Easter

Easter was a busy weekend for the Newman's. We headed back to Stanton early Friday and visited Grandma Julie at the Bank and Grandma Denise at the REC. We also stopped at the Beauty Shop with Dad and visited Great Grandma Newman. Friday night we had Easter supper at the Hallquist house, Saturday we visited the pond and went to cousin Aubrey's baby shower, and Sunday we went to Church and had dinner at the Newman house. Busy busy!

Cereal and Bed Making

Tyler started eating cereal the end of March....as you can see, he really likes it! Thanks Cousin Aubrey for the awesome New York Yankees bib!

Mom and Dad were making the bed and Dad couldn't resist putting Tyler under the covers....he didn't seem to mind!

Mom bought Tyler a new Monkey outfit for the spring!

March Visitors

March also brought visitors. Grandma Julie and Grandpa John hadn't seen Tyler since the end of January so they came up for a day just to see him! Grandma helped Dad give him a bath and then played the rest of the afternoon.

While Uncle Kyle's attention is elsewhere, Tyler found his fingers!

Allison's college roommate Amy and her husband Lucas came to visit at the end of March. Neighbors Darcy & Abby babysat while we all went to a local establishment to race minnows....yes, I said minnows. I wish I had rememberd my camera for this one! Amy's minnow got 3rd place overall! As you can see, Tyler enjoyed just hanging out with them on their visit!

Pictures from March

In March, the Newman household had a touch of a 24-hour bug going around daycare. Tyler seemed to have it one day, and then gave it to Dad. Poor Dad. Unfortunately, the bug cancelled our trip to Aunt Carrie's house in Omaha. Here's a few pictures of how we spent part of our time...

but I guess that was tired work!

4 Months Old

Tyler turned 4 months old almost a month ago! Here are a few pictures from then! At his four month appointment he weighed 13.5 pounds (20th percentile) and 24 1/2 inches (36th percentile). He even did pretty good with his shots! He was just getting over the 24-hour flu bug the day we went to the doctor - and we left Daddy home in bed since he caught the flu after Tyler!

Sick & Visitors

Tyler had his first illness this past week. Both mom and dad have been sick with colds, so it was only a matter of time! He has a cough that can only be explained as a bark, and his cold has made him stuffed up and hard to breathe...poor kid! Mom had Friday off work and was going to spend the afternoon shopping with Grandma Denise, but instead spent most of the day just hanging out with the little guy.

Grandma Denise and Grandpa Knute had planned to come up to visit Friday afternoon and Saturday for some shopping and playing with Tyler, but we instead spent more time just hanging out at home. The ladies made a quick trip to the craft fair while the guys watched TV. A big THANK YOU to Grandma and Grandpa for helping take care of Tyler while he was sick!
