Seattle

Tyler and I dragged Grandma Nesie with us and flew out to see the Hensley's!  Tyler was a great traveler with me as we drove to Omaha to fly out with Grandma.  He even did some homework!  We got there super late and snuck into bed.  Chase and Emma woke us up in the morning super excited!  We went to the Pikes Place Market and Aquarium as a family.  The three girls got to go to a Seattle Seahawks game while the kids had a babysitter and played soccer.  Ty got the girls all to himself the last 2 days and we hit up a large Troll, the Underground Tour, and a Loch.  And Starbucks, of course!  It was great to see their place and visit the city, and Tyler still talks about all the fun he had with Chase & Emma!

Seahawks Game!

Couldn't keep them apart!

Family Time

While in Omaha we tried out the Children's Museum - Andrew was totally skeptical of a 'museum', but the boys LOVED it!  They played for an hour in the Omaha Steak grilling station/Hy-Vee grocery store alone!

Halloween 2015

Halloween was successful!  Tyler was TMNT - Mikey, and Blake an adorable monkey!  They got to go trick-or-treating in the neighborhood, and to 2 Trunk-or-Treat's.  TOO much candy!

Tyler is 6!

Tyler turned 6 in November, so we did the traditional family parties!  We headed to Omaha to Aunt Carrie and Uncle Josh's b/c Josh and Ty like to get their DQ Ice Cream cake with the St. Louis Cardinals on it and celebrate together.  This year Grandma Nesie and Papa Knute came and surprised him!  Next party was Grandpa John and Grandma Julie's house with the whole gang, complete with a super hero cake.  Last, but of course not least, he got to have a big friend party at Pump It Up with 15 of his closest, loudest friends!  They had a blast, ran hard and loud for 2 hours, and had two great boys heading up the party so mom just got to watch!

End of Summer Fun

Little summer-end fun!

Tyler and his friend Pete got to go to the Lego thing when it came to Des Moines - large conference center FULL of Legos!  They had a blast!

Kindergarten Here We Come!

Tyler is in kindergarten!!!  We can't believe our baby is this old, but he's totally ready to go!  We met his wonderful teacher Mrs. Fausch at open house, got his supplies, found his locker, and then on the first day he rode the bus and never looked back! 2015-2016

Open house, finding our locker

He got this shirt from his best friend Tre and they both wore it the first day of school since they were in the same class.

First day - posing with the TMNT book bag.

Waiting for the bus with the big kids.
