Wedding Fun!

April finally meant Wedding time!  Uncle Kyle married Traci Korte and we were all part of the fun!  Andrew was the best man, I was a bridesmaid, Tyler a ring bearer, and Blake a bell ringer.  The boys did great for all the chaos a wedding weekend brings.  Both walked down the aisle fine, and Blake went back and took a LONG nap the rest of the ceremony with my parents.  Tyler got to ride the bus for a bit with the wedding party, and then both boys danced the night away at the reception.

Easter

Easter was low-key as we had just gotten home from the hospital.  The Easter bunny came Easter morning and the boys are the SLOWEST egg hunters in the world!  They got some new PJ's and small presents, and had lunch with Uncle Kyle, Aunt Traci, and dad when the boys got home.

Poor Blake

Blake had a rough few months this past year.  In November (after a visit to the clinic where we were told "No, he isn't sick!"), we got to Stanton for Thanksgiving and broke out in the worst case of what they thought was Hand, Food, Mouth.  There is also thought it could have been German Measles.  Poor boy was COVERED in what looks like chicken pox and was miserable.  Grandma Denise to the rescue with calamine.  He loved it and perked up, but weekend plans were cancelled.

In mid-March while mom was at Traci's bachelorette party, Blake got sick again.  The boys said he didn't move from the couch all night and threw up some.  He was so restless and didn't even want to be held.  Not normal for my almost 2 year old.

In early April, we had just about recovered from March and got hit again!  Mom said enough was enough, got checked out at the doctor because the dehydration was making me nervous.  Based on the string of illness, dehydration, and weight loss - we were sent to Blank Children's Hospital for an IV and tests to rule out anything other than a virus.  All tests were good, and it turns out he had back-to-back bad viruses.  The IV helped get his fluids up and we made a good show of throwing toys at the doctors to get us released early.  Spent a few weeks working on getting back to eating and drinking normal at our house.  Kicker for the weekend - this time it was Bachelor weekend, so after we got all checked in, Andrew had to split town!

Hospital selfie!

We had a WONDERFUL set of doctors and nurses, and Blake oddly enough didn't really get too nervous with them.Mostly quite and didn't want to make a lot of eye contact!

Feeling better.

Check out my hospital pants!

I'm outta here!!

Home and Happy!

St. Patty's Day

St. Patty's is now even more special - the boys got a new cousin!  Parker Cash Moline was born on March 17th, 2015 and is adorable!  We made it up to visit - quick visit as Blake got sick soon after we got there!  But we got to see the little guy and can't wait to get more time with him!

Had to run out for a Shake at Arby's!

KC Trip

Andrew and I took a much-needed adult trip to KC this year to watch ISU in the Big 12 Tourney.  They pulled out a nail-biter the night before we left - almost ruined the entire trip!  We left the kids with Grandpa John and Grandma Julie and headed out Friday AM.  We ate at a new restaurant Andrew had found, then stopped for a beer at Kelly's Irish Pub - the local ISU bar.  Headed down to the Power and Light District both Friday and Saturday nights to watch the game will 100's of our close, personal friends outside - it is totally crazy and so much different than the last time we saw it!  ISU pulled out VERY close games both night to win the tourney!

We got lots of souvenirs, one being Miller Lite headbands - the boys loved them!

Winter Fun

Some pictures of our Winter Fun.....

Why not get everything out, and make sure you throw it!

I love the brotherly love - watching cartoons.

All on his own - he was pretty proud!

Tyler and neighbor girl Abby playing in the snow.

We took Tyler to see Princess and Pirates at Wells Fargo Arena - this was his Jake and the Neverland Pirate hat!

After one of Tyler's swimming lessons we swam for a bit.

Blake loved the water!

Glow in the Dark mini golf - Ty wants to go back - but we'll leave Blake home next time!

Lots of basketball games - no idea why Blake thought he needed his coat and hat!!
