Welcome to Buschwood Estates!

In August the whole family got together and enjoyed an afternoon/evening at the wonderful Buschwood Estates!!! The pond is awesome, equipped with a dock, paddle boat, sandy beach, Applebees bench, cabin with a flushing toilet, grill, and fire pit. It was a GREAT evening! Way to go, Mom & Dad!

Deck Party - Hallquist Style!

The Hensley's made it back to Iowa, so that calls for a family deck party! Check out our fun...

First, you HAVE to get out the kiddie table.....question is whose beer is that...




Then the frogs come out...they are everywhere!

Best place to hide from them - Grandma Pete & Aunt Carrie's laps...

The next morning...it's never too early to start farming....

Watching cartoons is always a good thing to keep them entertained.....

Minnesota....part 3

Boat rides is another tradition..this year Tyler got to go out on Uncle Kyle & Daddy's boat twice; once fishing with the boys and mom, and once just for a ride with mom & Grandma. The whole Newman family also rented a pontoon for an afternoon. It was an interesting trip, as somehow we almost sunk the boat and lost a few personal items! But we had a great time riding, fishing, swimming, and eating.

The theme of the week was sand and swingsets! The resort we go to has a great play area that is partially shaded for the kids to play in - and boy did they play!
