St. Louis Vacation

The Hallquist family gathered for a mini-vacation in St. Louis in mid-May. The story of the trip is such a good one that I'll do it in a few posts. ;) We all drove our separate ways and met Thursday night - the goal was to go to a log cabin on the Mississippi, but flooding prevented us from getting out to it. We headed to the St. Louis Zoo on Friday- if you've never been, I recommend it!

In case you're wondering, the Hensley's were with us, but we separated a bit for them to take Emma to the petting zoo - and that happened to be when we got Tyler out of the stroller to take pictures! Don't worry - they will be in the next blog!!

6 Months Old

Aunt Inky Graduates!!!

Saturday, May 1st we traveled to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville to watch Andrew's sister graduate college. Congrats Aunt Inky!!!

Grandpa tried to steal Tyler for the ceremony - too bad he got squirmy and had to sit with Mom!

Weekend at Home

Back in April we finally had a weekend at home. We went to church and out for breakfast at the Urbandale Cafe, to the Bass Pro Shop with Uncle Kyle (and Flat Stanley - visiting us from Cousin Mason), and then watched Finding Nemo!

Omaha Zoo

We finally made it to Omaha to visit Aunt Carrie and Josh! We spent the weekend visiting them and their cat Scruffy. Saturday we spent the day at the Omaha Zoo. The weather was great to wonder around and Tyler seemed to take it all in. We went out for supper with Uncle Keith and Aunt Denise. We then visited the Mostek's, college friends of Allison's. It was a good weekend and we can't wait to do it again!
