Spring Break!

Spring break everyone goes on elaborate, beach vacations where I live....and this year my husband headed to Florida for work, abandoning us!  So we  made the best of it.  We started out the week at the Children's Museum again and Parker Moline's first birthday.  We then stayed the night in a hotel to swim, eat McDonalds, and watch movies.  We explored Omaha the next day, and hit up a huge slide downtown as well as some picture-perfect spots by a little water.  We ran into family on the bridge between Nebraska and Iowa!  We went to the shoot-a-round of the NCAA tourney and made the best of St. Patty's day!  Overall, the boys and I had a great Spring Break!

Winter Break Fun

Fun in the snow and indoors!  We took the boys sledding over New Year's, and played with a bunch of new toys.  Tyler got to invite his best friend Tre over, and it turned into a full day play date. Tre moved to Texas after the new year.  :(  We made snow ice cream, and then into February made Valentines boxes and just had fun!

Christmas 2015

Christmas was a great time with family this year!  The boys helped me decorate the house and tree, then got to open their new PJ's and gifts from daycare.  We made it until the last night home before Blake thought to open gifts under the tree!  We spent Christmas Eve at the Newman's with great food and lots of presents.  We went as a family to church and then to my parents.  Santa came to Grandpa Knute & Grandma Nesie's house Christmas morning!  Then it was off to Grandma Pete's, then back to the house with Moline's.  The boys were certainly spoiled!  

Tyler convinced the grandparents that he needed to stay the week, so they kept him a few days and even put him to work!  I think he really enjoyed 1-1 time and the attention. Blake did, too!
